Community Engagement Showcase

The Community Engagement Showcase (CES) is a celebration of the outstanding community-based engagement experiences including work completed during a service-learning course or program, internship, or through student organizations throughout the academic year.

If you are an undergraduate student, you should consider to showcase your work completed through community-based research and capstone projects, internships, service related study abroad, independent study, Student Engagement Fund, Huskie Service Scholars, NIU Service Leaders, Huskie Alternative Breaks, the College of Business Experiential Learning Center or any other related community engagement projects. All undergraduate students are eligible to showcase their work.

You have the option to present your work in a poster, digital media display or table-top display.

Contact our office at 815-753-8154 or if you have any questions.

Students and their projects will be judged based on presentation skills, clarity, and design of their chosen presentation format (i.e. poster, digital video/photograph montage, etc.). There will be monetary awards given to first, second, and third place winners.
